Built circa 1853, this impressive antebellum mansion in Greek-Revival style was the home of U.S. Senator Benjamin Harvey Hill. Located near downtown LaGrange, it has been restored and is open to the public for tours.

This historic estate was the home of textile magnate Fuller E. Callaway Sr. and his family. The estate features the historic Ferrell Gardens created by Sarah Coleman Ferrell in the early 19th century.  Completed in 1916, the Callaway home is an Italian villa designed by noted architects Neel Reid and Hal Hentz. Open for tours year-round.

Some 300 soldiers from the Confederate Army of Tennessee are buried here. Just outside the cemetery are the graves of former slave and master bridge builder Horace King and his son.

Located along the Chattahoochee River at the juncture of two states, Alabama and Georgia, the West Point Depot and Museum is the historic site for transfer of freight between Montgomery and Atlanta in the late 1800s. Drive through or take a guided bus tour through this 500-acre park with hundreds of wild and exotic species of animals from around the world. Most roam freely and will come up to the vehicle for snacks.  After your drive, stroll through Old McDonald’s petting zoo and see other exotics such as monkeys, bears, alligators and tropical birds.
