Make the most of your chamber membership by getting involved and taking advantage of all the different opportunities to network, promote your business, and give back to the community. Below are just some ways you can engage and get involved in the chamber.
Attend a Ribbon Cutting
Ribbon cuttings are a great way to meet new chamber members, help support their business, and to network and meet other chamber members. We often hold several ribbon cuttings a week and encourage members to attend when available to show our new members how we come together to support each other.
Attend the Early Bird Breakfast
The Early Bird Breakfast is one of the best-attended chamber events, and is an excellent networking and educational opportunity. The Early Bird Breakfast (or EBB) is held monthly and includes coffee and networking, a buffet breakfast, and a great speaker.
Become a Chamber Diplomat
Diplomats are an important group of dedicated chamber members that assist with ribbon cuttings, member outreach, and new member welcomes. Diplomats are often the first members you see at the Early Bird Breakfast or a ribbon cutting.
Join a Chamber Committee
The chamber has several standing committees that work to implement our strategic plan. Each committee is chaired by a board member and has committee members that meet monthly and work on projects and initiatives, events, and programs.
Below is a list of chamber committees:
- Marketing and Membership Experience
- Government Affairs
- Programs, Initiatives & Events
- Manufacturing and Safety
- Leadership and Talent
- Small Business
- Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion
Sponsor an Event or Program
Becoming a sponsor is a great way to get involved and get the opportunity to tell chamber members about your business. There are a wide range of sponsorship opportunities from sponsoring the registration table at the Early Bird Breakfast to being the presenting sponsor of the Chairman’s Gala.
